Hotel life. I spent very little time thinking about the types of people that are in long stay hotels. I found out that Apple Maps drivers stay at long stay hotels. We've been at three so far and the Apple Maps drivers have been at two of them with us. Not all long stay hotels are equal. A full kitchen can mean VERY different things to different chains. Also "weekly cleaning" and "breakfast bar." Since my last post, we've had a lot of life happen very quickly. For starters I got a new fully remote job and then we promptly got bed bugs at our hotel. I still find the front desks response to be less than ideal, but they did comp me funds to wash all of our clothes before loading our cars to leave. We used this as an opportunity to be back in a hotel near my old stomping grounds and conveniently 2 hours closer to my parents/sister. We also may have adopted two kittens upon arrival.
